  •  Mature skin does not need a thick "pancake" foundation.  There is a misconception that the thicker the foundation the more wrinkles it hides.  When in reality, thicker foundation shows more wrinkles.  Thick foundation settles into lines and is not very flattering.  Choose a light weight, full coverage liquid foundation.  You will see a huge difference in the way your skin looks and feels.
  • Mature skin needs a finely milled loose powder that won't settle into fine lines and wrinkles.  Powder will set your foundation and keep it looking great all day.
  •  If you feel you need more coverage, choose a loose powder foundation over your liquid.  Preferrably, luminous over matte.
  • Mature eyes CAN wear luminous shadows as long as you keep them on the lid or the brow bone.  Alway use matte shadows in the crease, where the most crappiness shows.
  • If you experence creasing with your shadows, use a shadow base/primer under your shadows.
